Abstract / PDF
Between 2012-2014, I researched Interaction Design, Learning Disabilities, Autism, Gifted Learners and Innovation. My thesis book, "Inclusive Interfaces" was accepted for my MFA (Terminal graduate degree) in Communication Design from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. With interviews from ed-tech leaders like Lynda Weinman and Sal Khan, advice from IDEO, meetings with Don Norman, Ray Kurzweil, Marvin Minsky and a journey that allowed me to learn from acclaimed researchers & faculty at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Harvard Graduate School of Education and MIT Media Lab, my thesis research answers many deep questions about education, innovation and design. My travels in the US took me to conferences such as A Better World by Design at Rhode Island School of Design, TechCamp NYC at CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, ACM CSCW 2014 at Baltimore, Maryland and talks at MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge, USA.
